Once again Beverley Minster will be bursting with Christmas Trees, as part of the church’s now-traditional build-up to Christmas.
The highlight of this year’s annual Christmas Tree Festival at Beverley Minster is a special family concert on Saturday 13th December, led by the Minster choristers and featuring the Invitatione choir and orchestra.
Entertainment includes Britten’s Ceremony of Carols and baroque music by Charpentier, with tickets priced £6 for adults and under 18s free. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
Beverley Minster will also be open for people to see the 70+ Christmas trees that have been decorated by local groups, schools and businesses, and vote for their favourites between 10am and 4pm on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th, and from noon to 4pm on Sunday 14th.
