Police Appeal After  Graffiti Appears On Bus Shelters And Walls On Victoria Road

Humberside Police are appealing for help from the public after a number of road signs, bus shelters, walls and pavements were graffitied along the length of the A164 Victoria Road in Beverley.

Local PCSO Steve Cheung of Beverley Neighbourhood Policing Team said;

“This is a senseless act of criminal damage which has affected not only the residents of the area but of visitors to the town.”

“The East Riding of Yorkshire Council has been informed of the damage to their property however some of the graffiti has affected private properties which will have to foot the bill to remove it.”

“ We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this or has any information as to who has done this to come forward as soon as possible to help bring those responsible to justice and to prevent further damage.”
