Beverley Town showed great character as they came from two goals behind to beat Hedon Rangers at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
Town went into the break 2-0 down after Rangers Daniel Clancy helped himself to two first-half goals giving the visitors a good advantage going into the second period.
The Champions, however, had other ideas and in what the manager Ross Cording described as a ‘quality second half performance’ Town turned the game on its head.
Harry Lomas and a brace from Ryan Hirst getting the all-important goals as Town completed the comeback and claimed all three points.
Beverley Town FC are now above Hedon Rangers in the Humber Premier League but are 12 points behind the league leaders AFC Reckitts.
Next weekend, Beverley faces a tricky match as they travel to third placed Crown FC at South Holderness Technology College.
