“We had a record number of players take part this year, which is a trend we have seen in all the events we have had in 2014.”

“In total, there was a total of 25 teams. Each one of the teams was made up of five players. The popularity of the Christmas Ambrose capped off what has been a fine year for the club in its 125th year.”

“This competition is purely for fun bringing the members together at Christmas. It is a chance for friends to team up and have a game followed by a drink in the bar afterwards and win a bottle of wine.”

Players will take to the Westwood course one final time in 2014 to play in the New Years Eve Par 3, signing off what has been what the captain feels has been an incredible 125th year for the club.
