Police Appeal After Car Window is Broken By Snowball

Humberside Police are appealing for help after a rear passenger window of a car was smashed as it was driven along Mill Lane in Beverley at approximately 1630hrs on Monday 19 January.

It is alleged that two people were involved in throwing a lump of ice or compacted snow at the car, smashing the window of the gold-coloured Daewoo Matiz.

At the time of the incident the car was moving and the driver stopped the vehicle. The passenger got out and chased after two teenage boys believed to be responsible for the damage.

The passenger returned to the car having been unable to locate the culprits, although she had been approached by a witness who assisted her in the search for the offenders and also had informed her they had witnessed the incident.

He did not leave his details. However, and police are keen to locate him and anyone else with information about the damage.
