Tesco’ S Beverley Store Leads The Way In Diabetes UK Fundraising Activity

From March 2013 to December 2014 Tesco stores throughout the UK have been raising money for Diabetes UK, the company’s National Charity Partner.

The final total raised during this period was an incredible £18 million, which is already making a difference to children and adults with diabetes, and will continue to do so for many years to come.

Tesco Beverley’s store has led the way within the retailer’s superstores north division and has beaten all the other stores in the group by raising over £11,500 for the period March 2014 to December 2014.

In the 22 months of the partnership with Diabetes UK, the Morton Lane store raised over £20,000 for Diabetes UK and is now look forward to raising money for the company’s new National Charity Partnership with British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK.

Store Manager Alex Boak said;
