Bishop Burton College event management students George Payne, Amy Scutt , Fran Lane, Alison Davies and David Marshall, once again aim to support Beverley Community Lift by organising a fun filled evening of entertainment at Tickton Grange, Beverley on 27 March 2015, 7pm.
The evening the students are planning is a Yorkshire theme, to reflect the historic Yorkshire town of Beverley and the community the charity serves.
Students have organised to feature a brass band, themed quiz, a fantastic prize draw offering donations from local businesses and an evening dinner served to all guests with tickets priced at just £22.
Students have been gaining further experience throughout their event management degree since their successful Family Fun Day event at Armstrong’s in Beverley last April, where they raised over £1,000 for the charity.
They are excited to take lead on another event for the charity to gain more positive feedback and raise awareness to members of the public.
Jan Stainforth is the chief executive of the charity and said;
“It is great to be supported by, and be associated, with such an enthusiastic, talented and professional group of young people.”
“We are very much looking forward to the Yorkshire Evening on 27th March and hope lots of people will join us to celebrate everything that is Yorkshire!”
The event is hoping to be as successful as last time to fundraise further money for Beverley Community Lift as the students wish to continue their support to the charity.
If you are interested in coming along to the event and supporting a great charity, tickets can be purchased from Beverley Community Lift and please call 01482 868082.
