Beverley Town FC Reserves boss Ed Grady says he happy with his team after they picked up all three points at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
Grady’s side came out on top beating Holme Rovers 2- 1 to move into fifth place in the East Riding County League.
Town scored both goals inside the first 10 minutes of the game, Adam Gibson and Dominic Wright finding the net early on.
Daniel Shaw came off the bench to score for the visitors, but it was too little too late.
Speaking after the match, Grady said;
“While I am very happy with all three points I felt we could have kicked on and scored more goals. It was a very scrappy affair but at the end of the day we got the job done.”
“The stand out performance came from Tom Norton in goal. Phil Gardner also had a good game as did Danny McHale.”
Next weekend, Town hit the road as they face four placed Gilberdyke Phoenix.
Final Score: Beverley Town Reserves 2 Holme Rovers 1
