80s Disco Raises Hundreds Of Pounds For The Teenage Cancer Trust

An 80s Disco that took place at the Armstrongs Social Club in Beverley has raised hundreds of pounds for charity.

Speaking about the event organiser Pam Lockyer said;

“It was a huge success and everyone was up dancing to the great music played by DJ’s Simon Burns and Tom Guthrie.”

“In total we raised £800, which was part due to the very generous donations from The Inches Body Studio on Norwood, Beverley and The Hull Freemasons.”

“I would like to say a very big thank you for the donations and to Karen Jeffrey and Dawn Overton for selling tickets for the night.”

“Also I would like to people for the donations for the prize draw from Crystal Tiara’s & More, Un Poco Jewellery , Karen Jeffrey and HU17.net .”

“The money raised will go too Teenage Cancer Trust , which is a very worthy charity.”
