Beverley Town Cricket club played their first match of the summer as they hosted Cleethorpes Cricket Club at the Norwood recreation ground.
Beverley lost the toss and were put into bat and set the visitors a target of 183 runs to win the game.
Highlights for Beverley included 59 for skipper Jonathan Fisher and Ben Fish who racked up a credible 71.
The visitors took a number of wickets in the final 10 overs of the game meaning Beverley were unable to surpass the 200 mark.
Cleethorpes openers made a steady start despite the best efforts Cleethorpes reach the required target with three overs to spare.
