Beverley RUFC Colts return to action today just one game away from reaching the Yorkshire Cup Final.
In the lunchtime kick-off Beverley will host Sheffield from Division I knowing they will need to be at the very best if they are to progress to the final.
Speaking ahead of the match Joey Franklin told HU 17.net:
“Confidence is very high and all the lads again on really well in the dressing room. There is no doubt Sheffield are going to be a tough outfit to beat.”
Beverley go into the match with a full strength squad with Franklin hoping that people will come out to support the lads into that support could be key in this vital fixture.
Franklin said;
“If we get touchline full of people down Beaver Park that is sure to help the guys on the pitch. Big crowd is always a real help when you’re out there playing.”
Beverley booked their place in the semi-final after beating rival Selby. Victory today would see them take on even Middlesbrough or Old Brodlians in the final.
Kick off is Sunday at 12 PM, Beaver Park.
