Playing the Beverley Leisure Centre the youngsters were given the honour providing the previous match entertainment where they put on a good display rugby in bright blustery conditions.
Although this was not competitive game, both sides gave it 100% on the field and it was Beverley who edged to victory by single-point is a game finished 9-8.
After completing the match youngsters were then given the role of mascots, they joined their senior counterparts along with members of the Royal British Legion and a Piper to bring out the senior sides onto the pitch.
