During the event, there are many personal triumphs, including that of a young lad called Alfie Adams.
With the help of his dad, Guy, he overcame the odd’s by training for the event completing the fun run for the first time.
As in previous years the event was supported by the number of special guests, including Maryann Cunningham the current Miss Hull & District 2015.
Speaking about the event, Maryann said;
“I enjoyed being there it was great to be able to support the local community as Miss Hull & District. I was overwhelmed by the younger children’s motivation. Especially that young boy Alfie, it was his third-year running.”
The fun run remains the signature event for the Beverley Braves when it comes to raising funds for their club. Money they raise is used to purchase all the equipment required so the Beverley Braves can continue to operate and develop rugby league in the Beverley area.
