Skidby Mill will host a children’s drop-in workshop on honey bees on Thursday, 28 May from 10am-3pm.
The free event includes talks by Stewart Brown from the Beverley Beekeepers Association, who will bring equipment and a DVD relating to beekeeping.
There will also be children’s craft activities in the Education Room, a quiz and some fact sheets relating to honey bees which will tie in with the Mill’s own bee colony that can be viewed by visitors.
Skidby Mill is open from Monday to Thursday 10am-5pm (last admissions 4.15pm), Friday 10am-4.30pm (last admissions 3.45pm), Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm (last admissions 4.15pm). The Mill is closed for lunch from 12.30-1pm.
