The blue and golds will play their one and only derby in the Yorkshire League Division One this Thursday evening at the Beverley Leisure Centre.
In what has been a stop start season since they moved to summer rugby Beverley will entertain Hull Wyke in contest supporters of the club are said to be ‘looking forward’ to.
Beverley ARLC coach Pat Howdle has significantly increased the size of his squad since the club’s switch to the Yorkshire League, and depth will be put to the test in this one. Sam Coleman, Jack Howdle, Glen Anfield, Rich Etherington, Gavin Platt are all unavailable and Ryan Watkin has played his last game for the club before joining the Army.
However confidence at the club is high, particularly after comprehensively defeating one of the fancied teams for the league Mirfield Stags earlier in the month.
A good crowd is anticipated for this intriguing clash of these two local rivals for the 7pm kick off.
