Due to exceptional demand for the pilot walk-in mole clinics, East Riding of Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group would like to stress to anyone looking to attend the remaining two clinics in June and July that there will be delays, long waits and some people may be turned away.
Dr Simon Carruthers, GP with a special interest (GPSI) Dermatology, said:
“We are committed to seeing as many people as possible. However we have experienced unprecedented demand for our earlier clinics which has, unfortunately, resulted in staff having to turn people away.”
“As such I would like to highlight to anyone thinking of coming to the next two remaining clinics in June and July to please bear this in mind, especially those who maybe travelling a long distance.”
“Anyone unable to access the clinics with a genuine concern about any moles please contact their own GP directly for further advice.”
