Beverley Minster Virger Neil Pickford will be co-hosting a special tour of Beverley Minster on Monday 6th July for anyone sufficiently able-bodied to get into the roof.
Neil, and fellow Minster-expert John Phillips will be guiding visitors around the fascinating mediaeval woodcarvings and thorough the structural woodwork ‘backstage’ to raise funds for Friends of Beverley Minster. Tickets for the 90 minute tour by two experienced and entertaining presenters cost £6 (or £5 for existing members of the Friends).
No booking required – just turn up at the main Highgate door to the Minster before 7pm – and free car parking is available immediately opposite the entrance.
