A 17-year-old girl was walking back from college on Wednesday July 8 in Beverley when a man is alleged to have indecently touched her.
It is believed as the girl walked passed the Beverley Memorial Hall on Lairgate at 2.15pm, the man allegedly brushed passed the girl, cupping his hand over her backside and squeezing it, before walking off.
The girl was upset by this incident.
The man is described as aged in his 30s, slim build, 5ft 8ins tall with a bald head and ginger stubble at the back of his head. He was carrying a rucksack over both shoulders, wearing a red and yellow checked lumber jacket shirt, with acid washed light blue denim jeans.
Awareness is being raised to determine whether there have been any other similar incidents in the area.
