While it may been raining in Beverley town centre at Beverley Racecourse it was snowing.
Bad weather over the past few days may have put some people off attending Beverley Racecourse’s Family Raceday however those that did brave the elements, especially the youngsters had a fantastic time.
This year saw families entertained with a Frozen Singalong and there were plenty of youngsters who were prepared to get on the stage and joining with the songs.
While crowds may have been down there was still plenty of excitement on the track.
Jack Luey a horse with local connections blew away the field to win the Racing UK Profits all Returned to Racing Handicap Stakes.
In the fifth race, The Wilford Watts Memorial Handicap Stakes it was Warfare who came out on top to win feature race.
Racing will now return to Beverley on 12 August as Beverley Races Ladies Day takes place.
