Whitnesses are sought to a road traffic collision on the A1035 at Tickton in East Yorkshire which occurred at 10.25am today (Monday August 17).
The incident, near to the garden centre, involved a green coloured Volkswagen Passatt and a blue coloured Fiat Punto.
The front seat passenger of the Fiat, a 75-year-old woman, sustained internal injuries and was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary where she is in a serious condition.
The driver of the Passatt, a 52-year-old man, sustained minor injuries as did the 78-year-old man who was driving the Fiat.
The area was busy at the time of the collision and witnesses are requested to contact police on telephone 101 quoting log number 146 of August 17.
