Young people in the Molescroft area are being invited to a drop-in to discuss their ideas for possible future provision of facilities at the Molescroft Pavilion and playing field.
A recent increase in anti social behaviour and vandalism that saw the roof of the pavilion badly damaged and large bonfire built in on the playing field has promoted officials to take a more direct approach.
The meeting will be held on Friday 4 September from 7PM to 9PM at the Pavilion on Woodhall Way.
It will discuss suggestions for the use by Molescroft Parish Council of funding they have got through the commuted sums, money provided by developers for outdoor playing space.
Other residents and members of the community are also welcome to go along to give their views and have their say on how they think the public space can be best used.
Among those attending will be members of East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s anti social behaviour team, The Sports, Play and Arts Service, Humberside Police and Molescroft Parish Councillors.
