Two Beverley business women have teamed up to host a special tea party for friends of the four-legged variety. Lizzy Chapman, owner of Travellers Rest Coffee Shop and Deli and Jayne Hunter, owner of online pet store Just Pawsome, are inviting dog lovers to come along on 26 September to enjoy treats in aid of the Dogs Trust.
Jayne Hunter says:
“I was so pleased when I discovered that Travellers Rest welcomed dogs. It is so nice to be able to stop off for food and a drink after going for a dog walk. I am sure that Lizzy will become very popular with dog owners, especially as it in en-route to many nice walks around the town.”
“It’s a good opportunity to let dogs and their owners socialise and we plan to have a bit of fun, serving doggy cake.”
Lizzy Chapman, owner of The Travellers Rest says:
“Guests on the day will be able to purchase from the cafe menu but the dog treats will be free of charge. Jayne will be making freshly baked biscuits and cakes packed full of dog friendly ingredients and we’ll also have some decorative party hats to get people in the mood.”
“We have a few goodies on offer and all proceeds or donations will go to The Dogs Trust charity. The Doggy Tea Party is a good opportunity to let dog owners know that they now have somewhere to eat and drink that will happily welcome their pets too.”
Jayne Hunter loves animals and everything about them and has set up Just Pawsome which sells products around the UK. The store includes food and general pet care items to the latest fashion for all furry friends.
The Doggy Tea Party takes place at Travellers Rest, 36 Beckside, Beverley, HU17 0PD on Saturday 26 September from 2-4pm. For further details please contact Jayne Hunter on 07772 477087 www.justpawsome.co.uk
