Music From The Best Of The UK’s Young Musicians Come To Beverley

Having gained a reputation for bringing some top level international artists to Beverley, the East Riding Theatre once again brings some of the best young musical talent to the town.

For an evening guaranteed to be energy filled, come the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award finalists 2014, Gentlemen of Few.

A four piece Bluegrass-Folk band which has performed two year’s running at the Beverley Folk Festival. In that time their energy, enthusiasm and great musicianship has developed them into a highly sought after group.

Having formed whilst still at school in 2010, they quickly earned a reputation as the band to watch, gigging almost every night.

They fuse Guitar, Banjo, Piano, Bass and four part harmonies to create a sound that has built a huge following around the country.

In support of the Men will be another young star, from close to home, Molly Curtis from Goole.
Molly is an acoustic singer-songwriter drawing on Nu-Folk influences such as Mumford and Sons, Laura Marling, Ed Sheeran, and Kate Rusby.

She joined the Goole School of Rock at the age of 13 and having shown such great talent has since then performed all around the region to packed audiences.

For a night to inspire and for top quality entertainment from the younger generation, put the date in your diary now.

The event takes place on Sunday 18 October 7.30pm at East Riding Theatre. Tickets are priced £8 – £12.
