Following Beverley RUFC disappointing display last Saturday at Dinnington, they have the chance to redeem themselves this weekend when the entertain fellow strugglers South Shields Westoe at Beaver Park in the 3PM (Kick-off.
The disappointment of last week’s performance was exacerbated by the fact that it followed several weeks of steady improvement in the side and the expectation was that it would continue.
Beverley were without two or three of their more experienced players at Dinnington and it must be hoped that they can put the performance behind them and continue the improvement.
There will be no better opportunity than this Saturday, since Westoe are really struggling as well and the Beverley faithful will be expecting nothing less than the first win.
Head Coach Simon Cowling is confident that once achieved that first win will lead to more.
Despite the dreadful start to the season, Beverley are only five points behind the team 3 places above them in the league table and a good win on Saturday should lift them off the bottom.
Selection will be made from the following players :-
M.Hatfield,M.Shaw,A.Meagher, A,McPeake, D.Brant, J.Bunn, J.Hart-Fisher, A.Rowbotham, P.Duboulay, T.Shires, P.Chromie, M.Kilgannon, A.Ienco, A.McLatchie, R,DeKock, S.Roe, C.Pape, V.Collingwood,J.Graham, C.Hancock,
