Beverley Minster has been turned purple in support of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, and a photo taken by Neil McKenzie captured a unique view of the landmark.
Taken from a drone the photo shows a striking purple Beverley Minster popping out of the night sky in Beverley.
This was the second year the event has been staged with organisers saying there was a significant increase in people who attended.
During a short ceremony after the lights were switched people were invited back into Beverley Minster where there was a remembrance tree and other fund raising stalls.
