Beverley Town Reserves have booked their place into the semi final of the East Riding County FA Senior Cup after they beat Long Riston.
Bad weather saw the game switched to Longcroft School so the fixture could be played. Town took the lead in a scruffy match that was hampered by conditions.
Long Riston battled back and got back on level terms in the second half with a terrific free kick from 30 yards out.
However Town battled back to get the all important winner and see out the game to book their place in the semi final of the cup.
Next weekend Beverley return to East Riding County League action with an away day at bottom club North Cave.
