BEVERLEY: Witnesses Sought After Woman Hurt

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision which occurred at 5.20pm on Sunday November 15 on the A1035, Hornsea Road, Beverley near to Tickton Grange.

The collision involved a silver Lexus IS200 car which was travelling towards Leven and a green Ford Ka car travelling in the opposite direction towards Beverley.

The drivers of both cars were cut from their vehicles by the fire service.

The driver of the Ford Ka, a 29-year-old Beverley woman, suffered serious life threatening injuries. Two children travelling in the rear of her car, a nine-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy, suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the Lexus, a 24-year-old Hull man suffered serious but non life threatening injuries.

Witnesses to the collision or anybody who saw either vehicle travelling prior to the incident are asked to contact 101, quoting log number 423 of November 15.
