Teaching can be one of the most rewarding yet stressful careers to be involved with during the Christmas period according to new research conducted by teacher recruitment service Edustaff.
Workload of the classroom especially over the festive period was a leading factor as to why many teachers decided to leave the profession.
Research also revealed that 85pc of teachers love their jobs and so to help take the pressure off hard-working teachers during the Christmas season, Edustaff have come up with Christmas Term Survival guide.
The guide is designed as a go to document that is packed with stress busting tricks and tips to help any teacher ease the pressure during the Christmas period.
Nigel Horne who is a lead consultant at Edustaff talking about the guide created for teachers said;

Teachers in the UK according to the research worked on average 52 hours per week. As a career it ranks highly as being one of the most enjoyed jobs people undertake.
