Beverley Minster Calls For Help In Shifting Christmas Trees

Organisers of the Beverley Minster Christmas tree Festival are appealing for help to find homes for a small number of trees they have leftover.

Around 12 trees which formed part of the highly successful Christmas Tree Festival remain at the Minster and are looking for a home this Christmas.

Peter from Beverley Minster said;

“Although many of the trees have now got new homes we still have half a dozen left which for a small donation people can take away.”

“We really need to get rid of them, and it is proving very difficult for us to dispose of the remaining few trees.”

The trees are from a batch of 80 that were fully decorated for three days in the Minster. They formed part of the Christmas tree festival that saw well over 4000 people passed through the doors.

While organisers are hopeful that the remaining trees will indeed find new homes, they are keen to hear from anyone who can help them clear away any that are leftover.
