Beverley Town Maintain Winning Run With Victory at Driffield

Beverley Town eased to a comfortable 4-0 win on Saturday against Driffield Evening Institute in the Humber Premier League.

Town settled well from the start and for the majority of the first half dominated possession but could not find the goal until the 40th minute.

When they did score the goal came following some good build up play that was finished of by Kegan Rose who hit a great shot into the bottom corner.

Driffield started the second period the stronger of the two sides and had chances to level but could not find a way past town keeper Luke Cotton.

In the 70th minute town brought on Shaun Day and he scored with his first touch after good play by Ben Thompson.

Town were on top for the latter part of the game and added further goals through Stuart Oliver and Nathan White closing out the game and taking all three points.

Towns man of the match chosen by sponsor JG Fire Protection was Luke Cotton.
