Last weekend Yorkshire Husky Meets (East Yorkshire) took their weekly walk around the Beverley Westwood Bounds.

However the adverse weather caught out the walkers as they looked to enjoy some lunch at the Beverley Arms.

David Elvidge who is active member of the group said;

“We seemed to encounter all weather types in two hours so were more than pleased to arrive at The Beverley Arms for lunch bathed in sunshine.”

“With a dozen Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamute we settled in the courtyard for lunch, sadly best laid plans and all that, as the food started to arrive so did the hail, sleet and snow.

“Well it doesn’t happen often so we were amazed to be welcomed inside to this dog friendly establishment.”

“So from all of us, human and canine thank you for a warm welcome, fantastic food and service above and beyond.”

“We will return.”
