The blue and golds will play their next game in the 40/20 cup this Saturday at home to Doncaster outfit Bentley.
Coach Pat Howdle will be looking to bouncing back from last Saturdays disappointing 30-16 at Norland, which saw them leak some late points having led 16-12 with 15 minutes to go.
Howdle knows last week’s side was a strong one on paper, and he has probably yet to see the best from all of his players. It seems the side has some way to go to gel properly together.
With his side containing a real mix of new signings and players returning from some work absences, and it will take time for Howdle to know his strongest starting line up.
This Beverley Saturday will have to make do without the services of Sam Coleman and Ryan Watkin with work commitments but should be boosted by the return of Jake Hart-Fisher and Glen Anfield.
Dan Clarke and Callum O’Connor, who did not make last weekends 17 man squad should be back in contention for a place.
Beverley are still hoping that the paperwork can be processed in time for them to give a debut to another key new signing of which the identity will remain nameless until it happens.
Kick-Off is 2.30pm at the Beverley Leisure Centre.
