Beverley Braves Score Big As They Beat Dockers

Beverley Braves under 13s put Hull Dockers to the sword with a thrilling 12 try display at the Beverley Leisure Centre.

Centre Jack Dixon bagged an incredible five tries using his power and pace to great effect although he will be the firstr to thank his teammates inside him for building the platform and creating the opportunities.

The ball was given plenty of air and with few errors the Braves ran riot in attack putting on practiced moves whilst also showing a hunger in defence to keep their opposition to a solitary try, even that coming from a wicked bounce of the ball late in the game.

Tougher games ahead but if the boys show the same commitment and enthusiasm then they will do well in the future. Winger George Spivey was excellent on debut whist prop Gabriel Berjarano scored his first try for the club in a barnstorming display.

Coach Craig Collins said;

“Education is important but biceps are importanter.”

Final Score : Beverley Braves 62 Hull Dockers 6
