Tour De Yorkshire : Beverley Has a Lot To Look Forward To

Murray Hill Solicitors say Beverley has a lot to look forward to when the Tour de Yorkshire comes to town on 29 April.

With offices in Beverley, Bridlington and Hull, the Law firm that specialise in Property Law, Wills, Probate and Power of Attorneys has first-hand experience of the buzz the Tour de Yorkshire creates.

Emma Long from Murray Hills Solicitors said;

“Beverley is in for a real treat, last year Bridlington was a hive of activity as people flocked into the town to witness the start of the Tour de Yorkshire.”

“It was very much a community affair with local businesses and schools getting involved and decorating the town in blue and yellow.”

Now in its second year the Tour de Yorkshire is expected to be watched by millions of people with the race being beamed into people’s homes live on ITV.

Beverley was named as the town in Yorkshire that will host the start of race, news that was welcomed by local authorities and the business community.

It is thought that by staging the start of the race local business will see an increase in their trading figures as people flock to Beverley to catch a glimpse of some of the UK’s top riders.

Ahead of the main event some local traders have a planned a Wacky Bike Race that will see them dress up and raise cash for the RNLI, the official charity partner of the Tour de Yorkshire.

When asked what people can expect on the 29 April Emma said;

“If it is anything like Bridlington was people are in for a fantastic day. If people are able, the best thing they can do is get into the town and soak up the atmosphere.”

“There is so much to see and chance for Yorkshire as a whole to showcase what it has to offer on national and international stage.”
