Blue & Golds Look To Get Back On Track At Illingworth

Blue & Golds : Look To Get Back On Track At Illingworth

The blue and golds will try to get back to winning ways this Saturday when they go on one of their longer trips this season to Illingworth.

The Halifax outfit were on the wrong end of a 64-0 score line last week at Norland, but Pat Howdle will be reading nothing into this.

As occasionally some sides do travel poorly. It is Beverley’s second visit to the venue as they won their 40/20 cup semi-final there 24-10 early last month.

Howdle’s side should be stronger than the depleted outfit that went down to a powerful Doncaster Toll Bar last week.

He sees Ryan Watkin, Bobby Howdle, Tom Shires return from work commitments and Billy Riby and Matt Liggins return from injury. Jack Howdle, Sam Roe, Josh Pooley and Glen Anfield miss out due to work.

Also, Alex Calvert is still injured and recent signing James Sewell is added to the squad for a possible debut in the 2.30 kick off.
