Beverley Ladies Circle welcomed their new Chair and it was made all the more special as the handover event was held on the 80th birthday of the Ladies Circle organisation.
The Beverley Circle handover was held at the Ferguson Fawsitt in Walkington, it was a fun evening with 18 ladies attending.
On the same evening three new ladies were inducted into Beverley Circle Group. The evening of fun and friendship included a 3 course meal, speeches by outgoing chair Diane Holmes and incoming Chair Louise Barrett. The honourary position of Beverley Circle President was presented to Kerri Harold.
Louise Barrett commented;
“I am looking forward to my year at Beverley Circle Chair, we have a great group of ladies and it is fabulous to see so many new ladies taking an interest in our group.”
“We are a young and vibrant group of ladies that take a keen interest in fundraising for our chosen charities which this year are The Lullaby Trust and Abbie’s Fund.”
“We meet up every couple of weeks taking part in a wide range of activities from a walk across the Westwood to Sausage Making and to craft activities.”
