Family Craft Activity At The Treasure House

Treasure House

The Treasure House in Beverley is hosting a drop-in craft activity for children and their families or carers on Saturday, 4 June from 10am-3pm.

The event is inspired by the current exhibition entitled ‘Little Works of Art: 100 Years of Greetings Cards’. This heart-warming exhibition explores the history of greetings cards from the 1850s through to the 1950s. Visitors will be amazed by the variety of cards that were produced and sent and the different styles that were fashionable through the decades.

The free craft activity is an opportunity for children of all ages accompanied by their family or carers to have a go at designing and making their own greetings cards for their nearest and dearest, using some of the styles and techniques on show in the exhibition.

There will be a variety of ideas to choose from including quick easy makes, to more involved and challenging options.
