Blue & Golds Look To Make It Back To Back Wins

Blue & Golds Look To Make It Back To Back Wins

The blue and golds will look to build on last weekends very hard earned 23-20 victory against Siddal Academy.

They take on another Halifax based outfit Illingworth this Saturday kicking off at 2.30PM at the Beverley Leisure Centre.

This will be the third meeting between the two sides with Beverley’s 24-10 40/20 cup semi-final victory being narrowly avenged 30-28 by their opponents when they last met in May.

Beverley are now up to 4th place in the Premier Division and know a victory against their 8th place opponents is a must if they are to harbor hopes of remaining there and featuring in the play-offs.

They will have a number of players unavailable due to work commitments with Tom Radley, Jack Humphries, Jack Howdle and Chris Johnson all missing out.

However, they hope with a number of new signings added to the squad, they have sufficient depth to be able to plug the gaps.
