Tesco were pleased to welcome the Brandesburton Scouts group to bag pack in their store.
Scouts rolled up their sleeves and spent the day packing the bags os hoppers at Tesco in Beverley so they could raise funds to help fund much needed equipment and also help pay for activities.
Scout Leader Mark Coulthard said;
“I would like to personally thank both the staff at Tesco for allowing us to bag pack there and the customers for your generosity, which enabled us to raised £575.”
“We are going to use this money to look at the purchase of some kayaks to help develop our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts in the great outdoors.”
“Without ways of raising funds to subsidise activities or to purchase equipment, many scout groups would struggle to put on a varied program.”
