Town Agree Sponsorship Deal With Melling Construction

Beverley Town Football Club have confirmed a deal that will see Melling Construction become the new sponsors of their first team strip.

Summer has been a busy time for the club with a change of management and the appointment of a new club captain, Nathan White.

Town manager Rich Jagger speaking about the sponsorship deal said;

“Beverley Town Football Club are pleased to welcome local firm Melling Construction as new first team shirt sponsor.”

“Directors Jason Mell & Chris Spedding set up the company over a year ago and have gone from strength to strength since day one. “

Melling Construction undertake all residential and commercial building work, and pride themselves on first class service with a quality finish.

Director Jason Mell who has lived in Beverley most of his life, and as a young man played football in the East Riding County Premier League, was pleased to help out, he said;

“We are happy to help Beverley Town Football Club by sponsoring the new kit. I have played sport all my life and it’s great to be able to give something back.”

“I know Rich Jagger well and when he approached me I didn’t need to think twice about it.”

“I am sure the team will have a great season and Melling construction will be behind them every step of the way.”

Having enjoyed a positive pre season Jagger will be hoping his team can hit the ground running as they look to be challenging at the right end of the table.

Beverley Town Football Club will get their new Humber Premier League campaign underway this Saturday away to Hedon Rangers.

Town will play their first home game at the Norwood Recreation Ground when they host local rivals Pocklington Town on Tuesday evening.
