Leeds United Development Centre In Beverley

The Leeds United Development Centre (Hull Branch) re-commences its successful coaching school starting in September from its base at Longcroft School in Beverley . The season long Monday night coaching sessions are a foundation for promising young players to develop their skills with a view to furthering their football ambition within the club .

Over the years the Development Centre has seen numerous gifted players drafted into the full Leeds United Academy Squad going on to train and play at its ‘state of the art’ facility at Thorp Arch Wetherby .

One success story is local Beverley Grammar School boy Jacob Galloway (pictured) who joined the Development Centre in 2010 and then quickly progressed to sign a formal contract with Leeds United in 2013 . This year will be his third season with the club and one which also sees him being school educated whilst training at Thorp Arch as part of the FA school day release system .

Leeds United have an enviable record for developing grass roots players into full professionals – if you have a talented youngster that may want to take the opportunity to develop and have a possible future career in football please apply to :-
