Beverley Town Dynamo Off To Perfect Start

Beverley Town Dynamo began their league campaign with an emphatic win at Hessle Barracudas in their opening league match in the youth 11v11 format as u13s.

Having being put through a gruelling training schedule pre-season with a back to basics approach including ‘tyre dragging’ and ‘running hills’ it seems the old training ways may be about to pay off.

Manager John Galloway said;

“We had a great finish to our last season as 9v9 winning both league and cup as u12s but didn’t want complacency to set in over the summer, so we decided to mix it up a bit playing some out of town friendlies and tournaments as a reward for hard work if training went to plan.”

“To give them credit the boys all worked hard in the training drills as if they were on trial with the club for the first time.”

“This we rewarded with friendlies and tournaments laid on for them that left them unbeaten all summer … including winning a national tournament at Blackpool back in May.”

“On the downside we lost Jack Cutler who finally put pen to paper with Hull City, however the summer also had an upside which saw exciting signings Kane Morris and Lewis Pidd-Hicks begin their Dynamo careers.”
