Beverley Real Ale Festival starts today kicking off two days of drinking festivities at the Beverley Memorial Hall.
Organisers of the event say that the Festival is now considered to be one of the must visit real ale and cider festivals in Yorkshire, strengthening Beverley’s position as the East Riding’s premier festival destination.
James Harper Festival organiser said;
“It’s been a real privilege to be part of The Beverley Real ale & Cider Festival over the last 5 years, every year we are amazed by how many people come out to support the festival.”

The Beverley Real Ale Festival have over the years built links with the Beverley Food Festival with, Helen Watson, Town Clerk saying;
“Beverley Town Council Food Festival are delighted to be working with The Beverley Beer Festival for the 5th year.”
“Both the Food Festival and the Beer Festival are well supported by the communities of Beverley and add a lively addition to the festival calendar within the town.”
Annette Bedford from the Beverley Memorial Hall the venue that will host the host the festival said;
“Once again we are very happy to welcome the Beer Festival in its fifth year. As a local charity it is good to see so many people enjoying the building and all it offer.”
The Beverley Real Ale Festival runs from 30 September to the 1 October. Tickets are priced £5 and can be purchased from the Beverley Tourist Information Centre.
Entry on the on the Saturday is just £3 and tickets for this can be purchased on the doors.
30 September 2PM – 6PM Meet the Brewer Afternoon Session
30 September 6.30PM – 11PM Evening session (live Music) Tickets Only
1 October 12PM – 11PM – Live music and drink the bars dry pay on the door all day.
