The East Riding Museums and Galleries team are delighted to announce that The 52nd Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition, on loan from the Natural History Museum, will open at The Treasure House in Beverley on Saturday 11 February 2017.
The exhibition features 100 breathtaking images, from fascinating animal behaviour to remarkable wild landscapes.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council are delighted to be hosting this world-renowned exhibition as part of the Hull UK City of Culture 2017 programme.
Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the most prestigious photography event of its kind, providing a global platform that showcases the natural world’s most astonishing and challenging sights for over 50 years.
Councillor Richard Burton, portfolio holder for civic wellbeing and culture, said:

After opening at the Natural History Museum on 21 October 2016, this year’s 100 award-winning images will embark on an international tour that allows them to be seen by millions of people across six continents, with Beverley being one of the exclusive UK locations.
