Beverley Braves Amateur Rugby League U13s team raised just short of £1000 by packing shopping at the Tesco store in Beverley.
Thanks to Tesco customers the Beverley Braves raised a grand total of £917.
Club chairman Neil Gay said;
“Beverley Braves had a wonderful day bag packing customers shopping in Tesco Beverley, raising funds to spend on much needed kit and equipment.”
“We were also collecting to help fund our participation in next year’s Leeds Rhinos Challenge at Skegness, representing Beverley at the country’s largest rugby festival, with 170 teams taking part.”
“The club would very much like to thanks Tesco and its wonderfully generous customers for supporting us in our efforts.”
