Magical VIP Film Screening To Raise Much Needed Funds For Local Charity

Parkway Cinema in Beverley: First Impressions

A private VIP film screening of the new film in the Harry Potter series ‘Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them’ is taking place at the Parkway Cinema in Beverley on Sunday 20th November, and it’s all for a good cause.

Local charity Beverley Community Lift is hosting the event, which starts at 12.30pm, with the film showing at 1.30pm.

CEO Jan Stainforth explained more, she said;

“It promises to be a really ‘magical’ afternoon, with the film show and lots of extra ‘spellbinding’ features, including: a magic show with magician Dan Voakes; Harry Potter Fancy Dress competition; chocolate treats kindly donated by White Rabbit Chocolatiers; a selfie mirror with Harry Potter props; and real, live ‘beasts’ from Meet a Creature, such as snakes, spiders and crested dragons (but don’t worry, they will be in a separate room for those who do not wish to see them!).”

Jan continued:

“We are very excited about this special film event, and we would ask people to come along, support our charity and have a fun afternoon. We are most grateful to Parkway Cinema for giving us this opportunity to raise some much-needed funds, to help our charity to take elderly and disabled people, who cannot easily use other forms of transport, out and about to medical appointments and on social outings.”

To book tickets for this event, call Parkway Cinema on 01482 968090, and ask for the VIP Private screening for Beverley Community Lift.
