Beverley Quakers ‘Friends’ collected over £220 for the homeless charity Shelter while singing carols in Angel Square, Beverley on 16th December.
Phil Entwistle, organiser, said:
“We were delighted that so many people supported our collection. We’ve done this carol singing for several years now and Beverley people have always given generously.”
