BE.THE.CHANGE will be returning in February as organiser Rebecca Bennett looks to make the second helping of the fundraising event bigger and better.

Taking place at the on 25 February at the The Mercure Grange Park Hotel, Willerby, Hull the Black Tie night will feature a meal and top entertainment.

Speaking about the event Ms. Bennett said;

“BE.THE.CHANGE is going to be even better than last year, and I am so excited to be organising the event once again.”

“The theme this year is Casino so it will be glamorous with showgirls and live dancing and singing. A prize draw will take throughout the evening with some amazing prizes to be won.”

“We are aiming to beat last year’s target of £5000 which was double our target last year than originally planned. We only planned to raise £2500 last year but we got £5200.”

“The response and feedback from the last event was overwhelming and incredible and therefore as a team we want to make it extra special for every strong woman who has been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer.”

Additional funds for the charity will also be raised as Ms. Bennett’s cousin, Richard Witty pulls on his running shoes to tackle a marathon.

Ms. Bennett added; “My cousin is running the London Marathon on behalf of the same charity ‘Ovarian Cancer Action’. All money raised from his sponsorship and the event is all going towards the charity!”

“He has been training very hard to reach his own personal target to complete one of the toughest challenges he has always wanted to face.”

“I am very proud of my cousin and knowing that everyone will be supporting him is amazing.”

“Particularly for this certain charity which is not only close to our hearts but to many people who have experienced this disgusting disease! let’s BE.THE.CHANGE!”

The ticket includes a three course sit down meal, Live entertainment from professional performers in the industry and a DJ to close the evening.

Tables are still available but limited spaces left, tickets are priced just £30 and can be booked by contacting b_rebecca@hotmail.co.uk
