Organisers of the annual Tickton Scarecrow Hunt have revealed their plans for this year’s event that will take place on 6 and 7 May 2017.
This year’s event will follow theme called ‘Village of Culture’ and will run on both days between 10 AM and 4PM.
Run by the Church in Tickton, Pauline Jeffery, the main organiser of the Tickton Scarecrow Hunt explained more she said;
“The 2017 Scarecrow Hunt is taking place on Saturday and Sunday the 6th and 7th May 2017 and it will run from 10am to 4pm on both days.
“Maps will be available at a cost of £5 per family, £2 per adult and £1 per child. These will be available at The Car Park at the Beverley entrance to the village or at the Chapel in the middle of the village on Main Street.”
“Refreshments for sale at the Chapel along with a Tombola and you can also try and Name the Scarecrow and win a prize.”
“There will also be an anagram to decipher, one for adults and one for children, and prizes will be given to the winners, and a Songs of Praise service held on the Sunday evening at 6.30PM, outside if the weather is fine and anyone will be welcome.”
