A new mini guide, aimed at helping day visitors make the most of their trip to Bridlington, is now available.

The ‘Enjoy Bridlington’ guide includes information about various attractions in the town, including Bridlington Spa, Sewerby Hall and Gardens, John Bull’s World of Rock, Burton Agnes Hall, the Bayle Museum and Priory Church, details about sport and leisure activities like those offered by East Riding Leisure Bridlington and things to do on the heritage coast, such as tours of Flamborough Lighthouse or viewing the seabird colonies of RSPB Bempton.

Around 35,000 copies of the guide have been printed and can be picked up from various places in and around the town.

As well as visitor information, the guide also includes a map of the town, events listings for 2017, suggestions on where to eat and drink and discount vouchers to use at a range of venues.

Councillor Jane Evison, cabinet portfolio holder for economic investment and tourism at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said:

“As part of its commitment to improving the tourist offer of the East Riding, this council, working through Visit Hull & East Yorkshire (VHEY), produces eye catching and useful publications to help promote important tourist destinations, such as Bridlington.

“Great Bridlington is truly at the heart of the Yorkshire Coast and has so much for people to see and do. This guide will help those people visiting the town to make the most of their day.”
